Family and Friends Reunion 2008

 

Hi to all.

           

Our 8th family and friends’ reunion will be on June 14th (Sat.) 2008 at Stanton Park in Canyonville, Oregon. (541)839-4483

Located adjacent to I-5 near exit 99.

We are also providing a way that Family can depend on year after year, to get together in a Family setting that perhaps couldn't be done during the rest of the year. 

If you would like to be invoved, contact the above mentioned people. We always enjoy the company!

 

                  2007 Family & Friends Gathering

 

Come one and all to the 7th Family and Friends Gathering at Whistler’s Bend Park east of Roseburg, Oregon, Saturday, June 23, 2007!!!!!

 

Group Area C is reserved for us. Check in is 2:30 pm and checkout is 1 pm. This is rustic camping, but there are showers available, just not in the group area.

 

Whistler’s Bend is east of Roseburg on Diamond Lake Blvd. (Hwy. 138).  If you’re traveling on I-5 North, take the Garden Valley exit east 1 to 2 miles to NE Stephens and turn right.  1 to 2 miles down the road is Diamond Lake Blvd., turn left.  Continue on Diamond Lake Blvd. (Hwy. 138) towards Glide until you hit mile post 11. Entrance to the park is close to mile post 11 on the left.  If you get to Glide you’ve gone 5 miles too far.

 

We will have a potluck on Saturday, so bring something to share if you like. 

 

Hone your skills for horseshoes and croquet. There is a large Frisbee golf course to enjoy and the Umpqua River is available for fishing and there is a nice play area for the kids! 

 

We’re looking forward to seeing all of you there and swapping stories and calories!!!

We are looking forward to having fun, swapping stories, and getting to know each other better (and yes eating some quality calories!).

If anyone has any Family history or Geneaolgy research that they would like to share, please bring it. There are a few people that are working on our geneaology, and would like to add to it.

Some of our Family are not electronically enabled (have email or on the internet). There are bound to be Members that have somehow been left out. If you see that we have missed anyone and either have an email, mailing address, or phone number, please let us know.
